My Journal It challenge layout:

Yep. I used bias binding around the egde. I was sewing on this layout and something in my little silver bucket caught my attention. Just what I needed to finish off my layout. Just a note, if you are going to used binding, just make sure you trim the sides of your layout so it fits in a page protector. Oh and yep, that’s another piece of BG out of my stash too!
And a card for the monthly card swap over at The Scrapbook Establishment. And I used two of my new Apple Blossom Studio stamps. Good stuff.

Some layout shares for The Scrapbook Establishment. I used Creative Imaginations Rock-A-Bye Baby range.

Alright, well, I am off to scrapbook while Amy is having a nap!

Who’d have thought I would be back so soon, especially with another layout! Not I!
So, I was cleaning up my space and I was putting away some papers and I realised that I have waaay too many Basic Grey papers. This is what 159 full sheets of BG PP looks like. It was originally 161 but I have made it my mission to start using and stop collecting. No doubt you will see more BG layouts in the near future.

Ok, so a smarter person would have photoshopped the words onto the photo. Not me. I used some old MM rubons. I like using old stuff. It’s so refreshing to know that stuff will be used, eventually.

I know, I know, 3 people have tagged me to do the 8 things tag, and I will, but Luke, who is home from school today sick, is bugging me to use the computer. It seems he is a little addicted to Mini-Clip games. I can’t say I am immune to them either though.

Yes. Another layout completed. This layout is for Scrap Therapy’s Make Believe Master’s and the task this fortnight was to create a shaped layout. I had this idea rolling around in my head since I saw the initial requirements of the competition.

And run, don’t walk over to The Scrapbook Establishment and take part in out week long Cybercrop. Here is the card I created for my challenge. Look familiar Nic?
I just used scraps I had lying around. Love cards that make use of scraps.

And while I am at it, I know, this is a hug post, I had two tags. One is from Sue who I know throught the forums at Scrapbooking Memories.

Here are the rules:
1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.
Seriously? 15 blogs?! How about we make that 5? Now, that’s a more reasonable number.
My 5 Lovely Blog Awards go to:
1. Moira – I am so happy to see you have a blog again!
2. Annette
3. Jaimee
4. Katherine
5. Ruthy
Ok, so next post I will do the 8 Things tag. Can’t do too much at once. LOL!

See, I told you I would be back soon with a layout. The challenge for Make Believe Masters over at Scrap Therapy was to scrap a double page layout using at least 6 photos. Here is my effort. It took me 2 hours this morning as it had to be uploaded by noon. I made it. Just. Let’s just say, I never would have thought scrapbooking would get my pulse racing so quick.
Want to know the best part? I used my Apple Blossom stamps so now it is also a DT layout. Gotta love hitting two birds with one stone.
